I'm just getting back into crafting after somewhat of a hiatus and I was looking through my collection of craft books with project ideas. I have a few favorite, but one that really stands out to me is $100 Crafts for Under $10 by Better Homes and Gardens.

I love it because it's got some cute little ideas, nothing too fancy, and because all of the projects listed in the book are $10 and most of them contain materials that I already have in my crafting supply collection.
So here's my question:
Do you all have either -
1: Good recommendations for books similar to this one - aka more cute ideas that are cheap to produce.
2: Good recommendations for all around crafting books. I scoped out the local library last night, but most of the books just didn't jump out at me or were centered on something that I can't do whatsoever - like knitting.
I'd love to hear them! Thanks in advance!

I love crafting as well. This book looks real fun, so I will check it out.
I am just getting into knitting, so I wont bother telling you about the two books I have since you dont like it!
I am into crafts in general so I cant suggest one book in particular. But I would suggest hopping onto Martha's website if you like crafts for the home. See what strikes your fancy and go hunting for books from there. If youre more into crafts having to do with younger kids, I always enjoy the Family Fun and Parenting magazine websites because they have the most adorable ideas for crafty fun with young children.
1It's more than I have absolutely no idea how to knit and really don't have the time to learn right now. I'd rather focus on stuff I might actually be able to accomplish soon!
I don't have any kids (yet), but in the future, I'll definitely have to check that one out!
I've really enjoyed some books - like Micheal's Book of Arts and Crafts (http://www.amazon.com/Michaels-Book-Arts-Crafts/dp/1579905307/ref=sr_1_3...), 365 Easy Projects (http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Handmade-Gifts-Decorations-Crafts/dp/069620...), and Gifts for the Family (http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Handmade-Gifts-Decorations-Crafts/dp/069620...) because they have a variety of projects involving all sorts of different materials, ideas, and seasons. They're fairly generalized, come with pictures and directions, and also won't break my miniscule budget.
I guess that I'm also looking for some along those lines...
2I know I may say this a lot, but if you're looking for free ideas for crafts, craftster.org and craftzine.com/blog are where it's at.
